Robbie Maddison's "Pipe Dream" is now REALITY!!!

Up until now, the idea of riding a dirt bike on top of water seemed pretty far-fetched, however, Robbie Maddison decided to make his "Pipe Dream" reality by figuring out a way to ride his KTM 250 SX motorbike over water and eventually conquer one of the heaviest waves in the world -- Teahupoo, Tahiti. It took Robbie nearly two years to figure out how to surf his motorbike. But his determination paid off efforts paid off by becoming the first to ride the world famous waves at Teahupoo and Papara on his motorbike.

From his helmet to motocross boots, Maddo was dressed for FMX when he took his dirt bike into the unchartered saltwater terrain of the Pacific Ocean in French Polynesia.

To celebrate Robbie Maddison's "Pipe Dream," DC Shoes has officially launched his new very own signature shoe called Maddo. The low-top cupsole shoe  has Maddo's signature M logo on the tongue and a DC logo on the side panel, and features a rugged suede and nubuck upper with breathable mesh quarter panels.
