Can anyone recommend their favorite hiking boots that are waterproof protected, offer the best foot/ankle support, and will last me at least 5 to 10 years?
Answer Question
The best hiking boot that meets all those requirements are Asolo full leather boots, like the Asolo TPS 520 GV or Asolo Power Matic 200. Asolo leather boots will hold up the longest and they should easily last 5+ years. Asolo boots also have the best ankle support. As long as you clean the boots and seal them every year they will remain waterproof. Other boots that aren't leather and have seams, they will expand and will no longer be waterproof. If you're planning on hiking hundreds of miles and want your hiking boots to last, I'd get a pair of Asolo full leather boots!
