Off Piste: Tragedy in the Alps

Avalanche in the Alps
by

Ski racers Bryce Astle and Ronnie Berlack had no idea of the danger they faced when they ventured off trail with U.S. Ski Team teammates. The January, 2015 avalanche that took their lives is the heart of an emotional new educational film Off Piste: Tragedy in the Alps.

Thank you for sharing our video..."Off Piste, Tragedy in the Alps".
Ronnie and Bryce were in the middle of the resort and did not know that anything off the groomed run should be considered uncontrolled for avalanches, You should not go off the groomed run if it is over a level 2 danger level without a local guide and beacon, probe and shovel. An Airbag would also be a good idea.
